Add/Edit Autonomous Network

An Autonomous Network allows you to manage overlapping public IP address space.
Easy-IPv6 creates a unique container called an Autonomous Network for each overlapping IP network, so you can model your IP address space to reflect your network topology, geographical locations, or company departments.
The following screens illustrate the different network topologies using Autonomous Networks.

Autonomous Networks appear as the root nodes in the Subnet Browser and are signified by an Earth icon.

In order for a user to see an autonomous network they must have the correct privileges assigned. This is true for all users including Administrators To read more about editing user privileges, see User Privileges. |
Add Autonomous Network
To add an Autonomous Network, select Add Group> Add Autonomous Network on the toolbar.

Enter a name for the Autonomous Network and click OK. Autonomous Network names must be unique and will be displayed alphabetically in the Subnet Browser.
As well as a name, you can add notes to the Autonomous Network.
Edit Autonomous Network
To edit an autonomous network name, click Edit Group on the toolbar. Duplicate names are not allowed.
Delete Autonomous Network
To delete an Autonomous Network, select it and click Delete on the toolbar. The Autonomous Network must be empty. If it is not empty you will receive an error message.
