Easy-IPv6 provides a number of ways to navigate around the Subnet Browser.

Search Groups/Subnets

One of the powerful new features introduced in Easy-IPv6 is the ability to search for groups and subnets in real time. To search for a specific object, type the name of the folder or subnet number into the search box located above the subnet browser.

As you type, the matching results will be displayed below the search box.

You can navigate the search results using the up and down arrow keys. To locate a folder or subnet in the subnet browser, select it and hit <ENTER> or click it with the mouse.

Search matches are made on folders or subnets whose names begin with the search text. Searches are not case sensitive.

Drag & Drop

Group Folders and Subnets can be moved by simply dragging & dropping to the desired location. They can also be dragged and dropped to the subnet browser from the subnet data grid.

Objects may only be moved within their own Autonomous Network and not between different Autonomous Networks

Back/Forward

You can use these buttons to quickly move from one part of the Subnet Browser to another without having to scroll through a large Subnet Tree. They work exactly like Internet browser buttons.

Back moves you back to the previous selected location.

Forward moves you forward to the next selected location.

Expand/Collapse

To collapse an expanded node, simply click on the minus sign (-). To expand an collapsed node, simply click on the plus sign (+).

An expanded node is displayed with a minus sign (-).
A collapsed node that has sub items displays a plus sign (+).
A node that has no child objects has no sign.
