In order to use the full potential of Easy-IPv6 it is essential that you configure the email settings. Once configured, your users will be able to request forgotten usernames, reset forgotten passwords, email host discovery logs/reports to themselves and others.
Administrators will be able to send out account information to users, send messages to selected users informing them of a server restart, etc.

SMTP Server |
This is the IP address or hostname of your SMTP server |
SMTP Port |
This is the port that you will use to connect to your SMTP server. By default, normal connections use port 25 and secure connections use port 465. Easy-IP will set the port automatically depending on the type of connection you select. |
Server requires a secure connection (SSL) |
Select this option if your SMTP server requires a secure connection. |
Server requires authentication |
Set this option if your SMTP server requires authentication. |
SMTP User/Password |
Enter your account details if your SMTP server requires authentication. |
Sender |
This is the email address that will appear in the from field of all emails sent via Easy-IP. |
Queue purge |
Emails will be held in the email queue for this number of days. Once an email has expired it will be removed from the queue. Both sent and unsent emails remain in the queue so you can check their status via the Email Queue viewer. |
Queue check interval |
This value sets the interval that will be used to check the email queue for new emails. |
