To edit user settings, select the Administration ribbon tab then click the appropriate button from the User Settings ribbon group. In order to edit user settings you must have at least Administrator privileges.

 

 

Edit User Settings

 

All the options in the User Settings ribbon group use the same basic dialog.

 

 

This dialog is almost the same as the edit client settings dialog. The only difference is the addition of the Edit Grid Layouts button. Clicking the Edit Grid Layouts button will display the grid layout editor.

 

 

This dialog allows you to edit the subnet browser, grid and card view settings. You can re-order columns, hide columns, group by columns, sort columns, etc.

 

Click OK to save the settings and they will be saved to all the selected users in the user tree.

 

 

Edit Default User Settings

 

Edit default user settings works in the same way as Edit User Settings except that the settings are saved for the default user. The default user settings will be applied automatically to all newly created users.

 

 

Copy/Paste User Settings

 

Copy/Paste User Settings allows you to copy the user settings from one user to another. You can also paste the copied settings to multiple users by selecting more than one user in the user tree.
